Black Friday might be two weeks away, but that doesn’t mean the Huckberry sale has to wait. The first wave is officially here, and the outdoorsy retailer is here to set the pace. From now until Friday, November 15, it’s giving you 15% off sitewide, so consider this an appetizer to the weeks ahead.
If you’re not familiar with Huckberry, they stock some of the most hard-wearing, hard-working, uber-functional clothing, gear, footwear and accessories on the market, from some of our favorite brands. And every year, they put on a smattering of deals for Cyber Week.
While you can expect discounts upwards of 40% off in the coming weeks on select goods, this two-day fire sale is the only time the entire site on sale. To help you get your shopping done early, we rounded up the best deals on blockbuster-approved jackets, weather-beating bags, envy-inspiring socks, heirloom flannels, and pretty much anything else you might need or want.
The Huckberry Sitewide Sale Hit List
Clothing Deals
Flint and Tinder
Flannel-Lined Waxed Trucker Jacket
Merz B. Schwanen
Loopwheeled Mid-Weight Classic T-Shirt
Is this now-famous t-shirt a steal? Hardly. But a discount on one of the most in-demand small-batch products in menswear is still a discount on one of the most in-demand small-batch products in menswear.
Corridor
Double Knee Carpenter Jean
Basically everything you’d want from a great pair of vintage carpenter pants—soft and worn-in, tastefully faded and full-legged—without any of the concerns that might arise from said vintage pair.
Wythe
Washed Flannel Workshirt
A flannel so good your dad will think you stole it from his closet.
3sixteen
Alpaca Knit Long-Sleeve Polo
I got last year’s iteration of this polo, added it to an embarassingly crowded closet and think I’ve worn it more than 50 times since.
Alex Mill
Donegal Merino Wool Fisherman Sweater
All the heft and texture you’d expect from a chunky cableknit fisherman sweater, but virtually none of the itch thanks to the merino-heavy blend.
Relwen
Flannel-Lined Chamois Shirt
There are fall jackets that aren’t as warm as this shirt, and Snuggies that aren’t as comfortable.
Schott
Waxed Natural Pebbled Cowhide Cafe Leather Jacket
The best time to cop an investment piece? When it’s on sale, obviously.
Blundstone
Classic 550 Chelsea Boots
If you get a deal on Blundstone’s, you take the deal on Blundstone’s.
Red Wing
Iron Ranger
Boots like these take a little while to break in, but this one in particular ages like some Glenfiddich.
Rhodes
Roper Boot
Somewhere between a cowboy boot and a dress boot, this Roper should satisfy the need (or want) for either.
Sanders
Gibson Commando Derby
A commando sole will keep your leather footwear in rotation year-round with a little more traction during wetter months, and when a pair of shoes looks this good, you’ll want to wear ’em as much as possible.
Keen
x Gramicci Jasper Zionic Hiking Sneakers
That rough-out suede is just begging for a thrashing. (Or just a pair of mid-wash blue jeans, that would satiate some cravings, too.)
Salomon
Snowclog
A new silhouette for the season, this mule from Salomon comes with winter-ready sole.
On
Cloudwander Waterproof Sneakers
Wet socks are never optimal, but it’s particularly perilous in the wintertime, which means that waterproof footwear might hit hardest this time of year.
Danner
x Huckberry Mountain 600 GTX Hiking Boot
Evidence that “waterproof” doesn’t need to look like “waterproof.”
Gear Deals
Filson
Duffel Backpack Hybrid 46L
Hybrids can be risky, not always delivering on the promise of either component, but that isn’t the case here: this bag will out-duffel your favorite duffel and out-backpack your favorite backpack, which means it’ll always be up to you.
Goruck
GR1 Backpack
They (presumably) haven’t field tested this in actually apocalyptic conditions, but if there was any backpack that could handle the challenge, you’re looking at it.
Howlin’
Out of the Blue Beanie
You don’t need a donegal beanie done in a perfectly woodsy green, but you kind of do?
Will Leather Goods
Glazed Calf Skin Dress Belt
A beautiful dress belt, just in time for party season.
Patagonia
R1 Daily Gloves
The only thing standing between you and warm hands all winter are a pair of gloves you can stand—these are very hard to dislike.
Anonymous Ism
Wool Deer Snow Crew Socks
Anyone who gets these as a gift will immediately resent the rest of the socks in their drawer, but you could also just keep them for yourself.
Home Goods Deals
Yeti
Rambler 14oz. Stackable Mug
This would be a great mug without the next-level insulation abilities.
Fellow
Opus Conical Burr Grinder
Barebones
Enamel Teapot
We’re in weird times, a fun little teapot might help, who knows.
Made In
10″ Stainless Clad Frying Pan
You have to start working your way through those saved recipes at some point—best to do it with a primo pan.
Filson
Whidbey Check Towel
It’s hard to explain, but the plaid pattern makes this seem like it would be warmer than a regular towel would be, post-shower.
Yamakazi
Smart Magnetic Key Rack with Tray
Key organization is a chronically underrated consideration in entryways.
Huckberry Black Friday Deals FAQ
Black Friday is the Friday after Thanksgiving, which means that it falls on November 29 this year. But Black Friday deals are no longer confined to the single day, or even the weekend. Discounts start prior to Thanksgiving, and nearly every one lasts until at least that following Monday. Huckberry typically runs a series of themed deals throughout the week.
Cyber Monday traditionally happens the Monday after Black Friday, which means that it’s on December 2 this year. If prior years is any indication, Huckberry will surely be running a sale on Cyber Monday. But if you’re looking to take full advantage of deals, we wouldn’t advise waiting all the way until Cyber Monday—things do sell out, especially when they’re on sale.
What are the best things to buy at Huckberry?
If something makes the digital shelves at Huckberry, you can bet that it’s been vetted, sweated (in) and otherwise rigorously tested, so there isn’t a wrong answer to this question, per se, but if we’re getting into specifics, their footwear selection is one of the most considered around—whether that be comfortable loafers, burly trail-runners, venerated hikers or vacation-ready huaraches—and their accessories are elite. And if you’re in the market for some hard-wearing shirts, they stock some serious hitters.
