However, nailing all of your 2024 fantasy football picks is highly unlikely, but the higher your overall success rate, the better the chance that you’ll be able to build 2024 Fantasy football lineups capable of making a championship run. Injuries are often inevitable, so having a reliable set of 2024 Fantasy football rankings for QBs, RBs, WRs, and TEs is essential to building depth at every position. Who should you target first and when should you expect runs on each position on draft day?

Sorting players into 2024 Fantasy football tiers can help you get maximum value out of every pick. Targeting favorites from each tier can ensure that you’re prepared for however your drafts unfold. If you’re looking for 2024 Fantasy football advice, be sure to check out the 2024 Fantasy football cheat sheets from the proven computer model at SportsLine.

Last year, the model accurately predicted that Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle would fail to live up to his Fantasy football ADP. Waddle’s 2023 Fantasy football ADP was 34.86 overall and he was the 11th receiver off the board on average. He’d go on to notch a 1,000-yard season but only had 72 receptions with four touchdowns and he’d finish as the No. 34 Fantasy football wide receiver in CBS Sports PPR leagues.

The same model has a proven track record providing Fantasy football tips, identifying A.J. Brown as a sleeper in 2020 and nailing Jonathan Taylor’s monstrous season in 2021. Additionally, it’s called past Fantasy football sleepers like Derrick Henry in 2019, Christian McCaffrey and Alvin Kamara in 2018, and Davante Adams in 2017. Anybody who banked on players like those made a run at their league title.

The model is powered by the same people who generated projections for all three major Fantasy sites, and it beat human experts last season when there was a big difference in ranking. The 2024 Fantasy football PPR rankings and 2024 Fantasy football standard projections update multiple times daily, so you’re always getting the best Fantasy football advice and the latest Fantasy football tiers.

Top 2024 Fantasy football QB rankings

Here’s a look at SportsLine’s top three 2024 Fantasy football QB picks:

1. Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills: First, first, second, first — that’s where Allen has ranked in positional Fantasy points over each of the last four seasons. Now with a new cast of receivers surrounding him, Buffalo seems content putting even more of its offense on Allen’s arm and legs, which means 2024 could be his best Fantasy season yet.

2. Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia Eagles: Hurts regressed in many people’s eyes last year but still finished with the second-most Fantasy points amongst quarterbacks. He set career highs in passing yards, passing TDs and rushing TDs in his “down” year, and it’s his ability on the ground which gives him a high Fantasy floor. With 15 rushing scores a year ago, Hurts is the only QB in NFL history with three straight seasons of 10-plus rushing touchdowns.

3. Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs: Kansas City pass catchers led the NFL in drops (44) last year, while having the second-lowest average depth of target (6.2) in the league. Even with arguably the worst group of WRs in the league, Mahomes led the NFL in pass attempts per game. So, one can only imagine what that type of volume could lead to in 2024 after the team upgraded its wide receivers room with first-round rookie Xavier Worthy and free agent signee Marquise Brown. See more top QBs here.

Top 2024 Fantasy football RB rankings

Here’s a look at SportsLine’s top three 2024 Fantasy football RB picks:

1. Christian McCaffrey, San Francisco 49ers: Injuries have been the only thing that have really held McCaffrey back during his NFL career, and he is coming off an RB1 Fantasy finish last year. He averaged more than 20 touches and 126 total yards per game, filling up the stat sheet with rushing yards and receiving yards. McCaffrey is in line for another huge season, making him the obvious choice as the RB1.

2. Breece Hall, New York Jets: Hall is coming off a strong second season, finishing as the RB6 in Fantasy points per game. He racked up 299 touches and 1,585 total yards, with his usage rate spiking from Weeks 5-18. Hall led all running backs in targets, receiving yards and receptions, making him a versatile back who can take another step forward this season.

3. Saquon Barkley, Philadelphia Eagles: Barkley finds himself in a better situation this year as he moves from New York to Philadelphia, joining one of the league’s best offenses. He should take some of the goal-line dives away from quarterback Jalen Hurts, and he is an every-down back who is only 27 years old. Barkley ranked 17th in explosive run rate last year, so his owners can expect some big plays and increased scoring opportunities in an improved offense. See more top RBs here.

Top 2024 Fantasy football WR rankings

Here’s a look at SportsLine’s top three 2024 Fantasy football WR picks:

1. CeeDee Lamb, Dallas Cowboys: Lamb rewrote the Cowboys’ receiving record book in 2023, and nearly rewrote the NFL record book as well. His 135 receptions were the sixth-most in league history, while his 1,749 yards were the ninth-most. He’s increased his receptions, receiving yards and receiving TDs in every season of his four-year career, and there’s no reason to think he will level off in 2024.

2. Tyreek Hill, Miami Dolphins: Hill is coming off one of the most impressive seasons of his career. He posted career-highs in targets (171), receiving yards (1,799) and Fantasy points per game in 2023. Hill was the centerpiece of Miami’s prolific offense last season, which averaged over 400 yards per game. The speedster has proven himself as one of the league’s best wide receivers, and he slots into the No. 2 spot in the 2024 Fantasy football rankings.

3. Amon-Ra St. Brown, Detroit Lions: St. Brown averaged a career-high 20.7 PPR points per game in 2023, and he’s scored at least 16.7 PPR points per game in each of the past two seasons. St. Brown has shown continual improvement during his first three NFL seasons, and there is no reason why he cannot challenge Lamb and Hill atop the 2024 Fantasy football rankings. See more top WRs here.

Top 2024 Fantasy football TE rankings

Here’s a look at SportsLine’s top three 2024 Fantasy football TE picks:

1. Travis Kelce, Kansas City Chiefs: Kelce’s run of seven straight seasons with 1,000 or more receiving yards came to an end in 2023, but the future Hall of Famer was still among the most productive fantasy tight ends in the league. The 34-year-old caught 93 passes for 984 yards and five touchdowns last season, which was a step back for him, but still enough for him to be a top-three tight end when it was all said and done. Of all the tight ends in the NFL, Kelce is in arguably the best situation from both schematic and quarterback perspectives.

2. Sam LaPorta, Detroit Lions: LaPorta burst onto the fantasy football scene as a rookie in 2023, catching 86 passes for 889 yards and 10 touchdowns. Year two should bring more familiarity with the Lions’ system and quarterback Jared Goff for LaPorta. The former Iowa standout also has the benefit of playing in an offense that features playmakers Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jahmyr Gibbs, who will attract plenty of attention from opposing defenses.

3. Mark Andrews, Baltimore Ravens: Andrews was on pace to have one of the best years of his career in 2023 before an ankle injury ended his season prematurely. In 10 games, the former Oklahoma standout caught 45 passes for 544 yards and six touchdowns. Andrews is set to enter the 2024 season completely healthy and will be looking to reclaim his status as the No. 1 target for reigning NFL MVP Lamar Jackson. See more top TEs here.
