For their fourth linkup since 2021, the duo cooked up the Aimé Leon Dore x Timberland Mid Lace-Up GTX boot, a bold and rugged spin on the Boston footwear label’s iconic Heritage Moc Toe bootâa sturdy chukka silhouette that’s been stashed in the archives for more than two decades. ALD’s Timberland drops have never quite reached the same levels of hype as its beloved New Balance linkupsâbut these gorgeous, autumn-ready stompers seem poised to change that trajectory.
Crafted from premium full-grain leather with a water-resistant Gore-Tex membrane, the Mid Lace-Up GTX has the hardy build of a serious work boot. At the same time, the details are pure sophistication, from the crocodile texture along the caramel leather upper to the peccary-embossed nubuck collar with soft suede accents. Naturally, the boot even includes its own small novelty keychain with a Queens Crest logo stamp, though whether it should remain dangling from the laces is for you to decide. The raised rubber sole completes the silhouette in familiar Timberland fashion.
