Joe Mixon, RB, Cincinnati Bengals: Despite missing 17 games over his first six NFL seasons and piling up 1,545 touches for 7,141 scrimmage yards and 50 touchdowns, Mixon has never been the workhorse running back during his time in Cincinnati. It’s entirely possible that we see the Bengals lean heavily on Mixon in what will likely be his final year with the team.”
Anthony Richardson, QB, Indianapolis Colts: The No. 4 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft only started one season at Florida and didn’t produce particularly strong passing numbers. However, he measured in at 6-foot-4, 244 pounds at the NFL Combine then proceeded to run a 4.43-second 40-yard dash and post a 40.5-inch vertical leap. That off-the-charts athletic potential helped the Colts decide he was their quarterback of the future. His rushing upside has Gibbs contending he’s a top-12 Fantasy football quarterback.
“For Fantasy purposes, Richardson’s floor projection (assuming that he holds onto the starting job) closely resembles what Justin Fields offers,” Gibbs said. “Even if the passing volume and efficiency are both lacking, Richardson should contribute enough as a rusher to offer top-12 Fantasy QB output.
